Peninsula Merchandising Limited was established in Hong Kong in 2003 as a wholly owned subsidiary of The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited to oversee the following activities:

- Develop and wholesale Peninsula-branded merchandise
- Appoint distributors and / or Licensees in overseas market
- Operate a Hong Kong-based e-store
- Launch, in association with distributors and / or Licensees e-stores in overseas markets

A subsidiary of The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited, Peninsula Merchandising Limited distributes Peninsula merchandise and licenses Peninsula Boutiques in key gateways of Asia.

The Peninsula Boutique outlets are located at The Peninsula Hong Kong, The Peninsula Beijing, The Peninsula Shanghai, The Peninsula Tokyo, The Peninsula Manila, The Peninsula Bangkok and The Peninsula Chicago. The Peninsula merchandise is also available at selected retail outlets throughout Asia including Hong Kong, Beijing, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Osaka, Tokyo, Yokohama, Seoul and Taipei.

The Peninsula Boutique & Café outlet is located at The Peninsula Tokyo.
